Neurological rehabilitation has a special place in my heart. My grandmother experienced a stroke and I was able to be there for her and observe as she went through her journey of rehabilitation. Physical Therapy helped her progress from being in the hospital to being independent at home. The therapists that worked with my grandmother helped her to regain her life. Both her dedication and the therapist's dedication to her was so powerful to me. I decided that I wanted to help others gain their life back and that is why I decided to become a physical therapist.
