My Story

Valerie Beuschlein, PTA, is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. She currently serves patients at Neuro & Brain Performance Center and GateWay Community College's HUG Clinic, where she also mentors PTA students in a pro-bono setting. Valerie was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, graduating from Red Mountain High School in 1999. She attended GateWay Community College's Physical Therapist Assisting program, graduating with honors in 2016.

She is also a caregiver, advocate, and entrepreneur, drawing from personal and professional experience to educate others on spinal cord injury, caregiving, and accessible living. Valerie has presented at A.T. Still University, GateWay Community College, Brookline College, and the AZSCIA Push Forward Conference, inspiring audiences with her message of resilience, practical caregiving strategies, and hope after trauma. In addition, she is the creator of the YouTube channel Finding Hope Along the Journey and the co-host of You're Not Alone Podcast, where she continues to share insights and encouragement with a broader community.

Her leadership extends to professional service as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), where she serves on the Arizona Board of Directors as PTA Council Representative. Valerie was recognized as the Arizona Physical Therapy Association's 2022 PTA of the Year for her dedication to advancing patient care, professional development, and community support.
